At Holy Trinity, Sooke, August 27 we are holding an open choir practice/workshop to begin at 10:30 a.m. and running until about noon. We shall be trying out vocal exercises and exploring mostly traditional Anglican repertoire from "Common Praise" with a view to discovering the musical possibilities within.
Choir director Stephen Powell has extensive choral experience, having sung professionally in the Vancouver Chamber Choir and the Elmer Iseler Singers.
Although we have extra copies of the musical edition of "Common Praise", it might be helpful if you could bring your own just in case we run out.
Following the workshop we hope that you would be able to join us for refreshments.
