DESCRIPTION:At Holy Trinity\, Sooke\, August 27 we are holding an open choi
 r practice/workshop to begin at 10:30 a.m. and running until about noon. W
 e shall be trying out vocal exercises and exploring mostly traditional Ang
 lican repertoire from "Common Praise" with a view to discovering the music
 al possibilities within.\nChoir director Stephen Powell has extensive chor
 al experience\, having sung professionally in the Vancouver Chamber Choir 
 and the Elmer Iseler Singers.\nAlthough  we have extra copies of the musi
 cal edition of "Common Praise"\, it might be helpful if you could bring yo
 ur own just in case we run out. \nFollowing the workshop we hope that you
  would be able to join us for refreshments.\nIt would be great if you coul
