Orange Shirt Day, also the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, acknowledges the harm that Canada’s residential school system had on generations of Indigenous families and their communities.

Every year on September 30, people are asked to wear orange as a sign of support.

Join us for:
• Indigenous performances
• Flag raising
• Minute of silence
• Guest speakers who share their personal experiences with residential schools and reconciliation

“Reconciliation should not be about an apology, nor should it be like a holiday or a birthday when we have a ceremony once a year. Reconciliation should be like a river, continuous and always making changes.

Eddy Charlie

Rain or shine. Please dress warmly.
