These are written by a member of our congregation, Cathy Carphin. Cathy writes twice a year for this column. In these short pieces she celebrates surfacing from her long journey of reformulating her life following the death of husband Grant.
Cathy has written two books which are now available on her website: https://letstalktogether.ca – Please Don’t Give Me Something More to Worry About: A Memoir of My Journey Through Grief and Grief Unveiled: Reflections on the Nuances of Grief and Healing. The latter is a collection of her articles, written from 2023 to present. Both books are informative reads whether you are yourself struggling with these emotions or are supporting someone who is.
