Bring your stuff and hang out.

We always seem to have a great time visiting over coffee and muffins as we help empty cars loaded with food stuff. The tents and tables will again be set up for us.

Annual Blessing of the Animals

Sunday, October 5, 2025

• On the grounds of the St. Francis Pet Memorial Pathway which is on the St. Stephen property (indoors if necessary)

• This event is presented by the Parish of Central Saanich and the Parish of St. Peter & St. Paul

• Our service will include music, prayers and readings from scripture

• All animals should be brought in carriers or on leashes. Rain or shine

• Our collection goes to the Victoria Humane Society

The Bible Study

The Bible Study

Tuesday, Oct 7 from 7-8:30 at Tim Horton's 880 Esquimalt Road

The Bible Study is a discussion-based group based on essays produced by Comment Magazine. Each month a different topic is explored through a variety of opinions and viewpoints.

Speak with Rev. Gail to register. There is a cost of $35 which includes your own subscription to Comment Magazine (required for copyright).

We're starting a new Topic for October: >Discernment< using the scripture references Philippians 1:6, 9-11 and 1 John 4:1-6.

This week's essay is >Multitude of Goods< byTara Isabella Burton.

Knotty Club

This fall, the Knotty Club will be working together crafting items for the SPSP Christmas Fair in November. We have some specific projects in mind and will supply everything you need.

Please contact Lynda or Adora each week so we know how many kits we need to assemble for the craft each week.

We're trying to come up with enough crafts to keep us busy until November so please share your ideas with Adora and Lynda.

His Majesty The King has approved the nomination of the Bishop of London, the Rt Revd and Rt Hon Dame Sarah Mullally, as the next Archbishop of Canterbury, Downing Street has announced. The 106th Archbishop of Canterbury since Saint Augustine arrived in Kent from Rome in 597, Bishop Sarah will be the first woman to hold the office. She will be installed in a service at Canterbury Cathedral in March 2026.
